Current neuroscience has shown that our brains are very flexible throughout our life times. This means that we can transform our experiences of ourselves and others, but trying to do this alone can be overwhelming. Painful (and even joyful) emotions are difficult to bear alone, but making room for them in the presence of another person who is accepting and non-critical can lead to healing lasting change.
As a result of this work, which focuses on moment-to-moment emotional and sensory experience, many of my clients are able to engage more fully, happily and authentically in life. Our work together can lead to self acceptance, equanimity and positive self regard, and healthier relationships with family, friends and work.
